than being at a show, or playing a show. there is no better feeling than being at the top OR bottom of a pile on, singing every word with your best friends, people you’ve never met before, or people you’ve only met once. it’s the only place i know where you forget about all the bullshit and have a fucking good time and be happy. this is why i play music, not because it’s “cool” or it will “get chycks,” but because it makes me feel amazing, seeing kids sing along, dance, jump around, smiling, yelling, everyone patting each other on the back, helping someone up when they go down. this isn’t just a scene, this is a family, let’s never forget about that.
